Currently, Michael Hubbard is a 5th grade teacher at Deerfield Elementary. He graduated from the California State University, Fullerton in 2005 and went on to earn his Multiple Subject Credential and his Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Development. Michael is a UCI Writing Project Fellow and is also a GATE and Literacy mentor for the Irvine Unified School District. Michael has been a teacher for over 17 years and feels honored to get to work with students and parents each year. When he’s not teaching, Michael goes on hikes and plays board games with his wife and three children.
