With 30+ years of teaching experience, I've always been an innovator in my classroom.  As a certificated Learning & Achievement Specialist and Canvas trainer in the Santa Ana Unified School District, I enjoy supporting teachers with a focus on delivering high-quality, meaningful learning experiences through Canvas LMS. I am a Canvas Advocate,  a  Canvas Certified Educator, and Google Certified Trainer. Recognitions include 2017 OCCUE Teacher of the Year and I was recognized as the OCDE STEM Standout for Oct. 2019.
In my free time I am a BSA Assistant Scoutmaster, mentor for high-power rocketry, scrapbooker, and beach bum. It is also my honor to serve as the current President of Orange County CUE.
